Open day

GIG Fassadenbau’s tenth birthday was reason enough for a celebration in the form of an open day held on September 15, 2006. 

From 8 a.m. relations and friends of the company’s employees, as well as the general public, had an opportunity to become acquainted with the firm in the course of guided tours.

A staff team created stations in all the individual departments and a special highlight for the visitors was provided by specially simulated rain and wind tests in the facade prototype testing box, which is unique in Austria.

Subsequently, snacks and drinks were available along with information about apprenticeships and career opportunities at the company.

Some 500 people took advantage of this chance to get to know GIG a little better and there was positive feedback from all sides.

GIG jubilee celebration

In the evening, GIG employees and their guests, business partners and honorary guests from the worlds of politics and business were invited to a jubilee celebration.

The guests were greeted with a welcoming drink and following a brief introduction by Adolf Pohn, in the course of a round of interviews, the company owners, its executive managers and figures from the political and business spheres were asked about their experiences with GIG.

An excellent buffet, a cosy bar and musical entertainment by the Skydogs then ensured a successful evening.
