At present in the Midtown district, a small exotic plant is attempting to introduce the energy of cultural urban renovation into the dense forest of mighty giant office blocks. Its almost exclusive concentration on formal qualities does not represent a luxury. The reactions show that New York both needs this building and appreciates it.

The Austrian Cultural Forum in New York is Raimund Abrahams most famous building.
The international renowned architect was born in 1933 in Lienz, East-Tyrol. He was considered as one of the representatives of the new Vienna Architectural Avantgarde.

Raimund Abraham died on March 3rd, 2010 in an accident in California.
