SCHRITTMACHER 09

The “Rundschau” newspaper awards prizes to Upper Austrian enterprises that attain lasting success as a result of exceptional, pioneering achievements, with the basic idea of acknowledging innovations within the region. Accordingly, under the motto, “The Idea Counts”, the Schrittmacher '09 prizes for the Salzkammergut / Vöcklabruck region were presented at a ceremony held at the Vöcklabruck Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. 

In spite of tough competition, GIG FASSADEN collected the prize Vöcklabruck/Gmunden region, in particular due to the Energie AG Linz and Ars Electronica projects. These were singled out for special praise, whereby they are merely representative of a wealth of exciting company contracts.  

This prize is evidence of the fact that the development of the company with its innovative, groundbreaking ideas is also recognized and appropriately estimated in the public arena. 

The prize was presented to GIG by Horst Gaigg, the head of the Salzkammergut/Gmunden Technology Centre.
