POWERTOWER-FANS

The beginning of December 2007 saw the topping out ceremony for the facade of the Energie AG PowerTower in Linz, Austria. The shell of the building is also a key element in its structure as it provides electricity from integrated photovoltaic modules. Accordingly, GIG received major recognition for the completion of the facade. 

The celebration to mark the topping out of the Energie AG PowerTower on December 7, 2007 brought a surprise for the GIG personnel:

The event served as recognition of the excellent and punctual realization of the facade, which was praised from all sides. Leading guests such as the Energie AG Director General, Leo Windtner, Alois Siegesleitner, the PowerTower GmbH CEO and the architect, Prof. Kaufmann all paid tribute to GIG.
