30 years of GIG – a milestone we are proud to celebrate.
Three decades of innovation, technical expertise and passion for sophisticated façade construction.
What began as a vision has evolved into an internationally successful specialist in high-quality façades. Today, we deliver complex projects for clients around the world. With an export ratio of around 80%, our façades and structures can be found far beyond Austria’s borders.
From the Ars Electronica Center in Linz and the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien) to the Axel Springer new headquarters in Berlin, numerous projects demonstrate what is possible when architectural visions meet technical expertise, experience and passion.
For us, 30 years of GIG is therefore not only a reason to celebrate, but above all an opportunity to reflect on our successful development while looking ahead to the future. One thing is certain: the next chapters of our story will be shaped by exciting projects, new challenges and innovative solutions.

WKO Vöcklabruck Business Reception
What could be more fitting than celebrating a special anniversary together with numerous guests from the business community, politics and the region?
To mark our 30th anniversary, we had the pleasure of hosting the WKO Vöcklabruck business reception at our site in Attnang-Puchheim. Around 200 guests accepted our invitation and took the opportunity to enjoy personal exchanges, engaging conversations and fascinating insights into the world of GIG.
Managing Director and Owner Adolf Pohn shared insights into the development of our company and spoke about the challenges and opportunities that come with international project business. The subsequent guided tours of our facilities brought GIG’s work to life. Guests gained insights into our element production and sheet metal fabrication facilities, as well as our façade testing facility. They experienced first-hand how aluminium, steel, glass and extensive technical expertise come together to create complex façade structures – from the manufacturing of individual components to the testing of finished façade elements.
An evening that impressively demonstrated what GIG stands for: international projects, technological expertise and, above all, people who work together with passion to create exceptional solutions.
