Rachat Towers, Almaty
Breathtaking View of Almaty
The area around Almaty in Kazakhstan is characterized by high mountain ranges and glaciers, and the city itself stands in the shadow of the 1,070 m-high Kok-Tjube. The Rachat Towers have been integrated into an existing site in the center of Almaty and their architecture shows close links to the surrounding mountainous cityscape. A 3-storey building forms a plinth that links the hexagonal, 26-floor towers with the 5-star Hyatt Rahat Palace hotel.
Modern offices are planned for the lower levels of both towers, while apartments on the 15th to 25th floors offer breathtaking views of Almaty and the neighbouring Alatau peaks. The connecting wing of the building is occupied by shops, supermarkets and event facilities.
