Plot A – Office Façade in the New White City Quarter

As part of the redevelopment of the former BBC Television Centre in London’s White City, a vibrant urban district has emerged, blending residential, commercial, and cultural spaces. For the striking office building known as Plot A, GIG was responsible for the complete execution of the façade works.

The façade combines various systems and materials into a modern, precisely coordinated building envelope. The scope included 1,800 m² of unitized punched windows, 2,000 m² of unitized façades, and 350 m² of post-and-beam systems. The concept was further enhanced by 150 m² of sandwich panels, 650 m² of ventilated façades using metal cladding, fibre cement (Eternit), and louvres, as well as 350 linear metres of glass balustrades that elegantly and functionally define the open areas.
