Google Link Bridge, Dublin

A bridge creates new connections.

The Google Link Bridge project involves the construction of a 26 metres long Y-shaped bridge connecting the three Google headquarter buildings in Dublin (Google Docks, Gasworks Building, and Gordon House).

GIG acted as the main contractor for the project. This included structural steelwork, the entire bridge glazing, stainless steel soffits, and adaptation to the existing buildings, with some services such as ventilation, electrical, and lighting elements carried out by our local partner.

A wind tunnel test was specifically conducted for this project to assess the high wind speeds between the buildings, determining additional loads on the bridge and façade.
