Construction of residential building

Construction Project in Munich

On the 30-hectare site of the former Prinz-Eugen Barracks, located at the northern edge of the Bogenhausen district, a new residential quarter is being developed with four residential towers, each with up to seven floors, making it one of the tallest wooden buildings in Munich. The residential towers rest on a continuous concrete ground floor, which will be equipped with façade panels by GIG SERVICE. Special attention was given to rounded edges and barrier-free areas of the façade panels during execution. This building also houses a kindergarten for the entire residential complex. Due to preventive measures on the ground floor façade, the risk of cuts and injuries is eliminated. GIG SERVICE will install an ETAL-Bond façade on this residential block, covering an area of approximately 450 m², including soffits in the various entrance areas of the building. Additionally, around 350 m² of aluminum substructure, including insulation, will be installed, which is intended for a site-built wooden façade.
