The Marshall Building

The London School of Economics and Politics (LSE) erected another of its 23 educational facilities with the new Marshall Building. Located on the edge of Lincoln’s Inn Garden, the building serves as a boundary between several districts in the City of Westminster, at the border between Covent Garden and Holborn. The unique and natural character of the building aims to bridge the gap between the worlds of law and theatre.

GIG was awarded the planning, manufacturing, delivery, and installation of 1,500 m² of window units and 1,600 m² of curtain wall façade. The façade elements incorporate built-in components such as revolving doors, lift-and-slide doors, and automatic vents.

The complexity of the building posed a significant challenge, requiring each window and façade structure to be treated as a unique piece.
