A hotel is set in motion.

For the Park Royal Palace we have installed storey-high, motor-driven folding sliding shutters with an area of ​​3,000 m².

The individual elements consist of two or four louvres which pivot outwards when opened. When closed, they form a flush façade together with the fixed elements. The drive mechanism is concealed in the upper and lower guiding profiles, mechanically synchronized, and driven by electric motors. The shutter leafs are made of perforated sheet metal plates which are anodized in different shades of a gold tone. The customised perforation pattern of the shutters creates a gradient appearance across the entire façade. A total of 275 folding sliding shutters were installed.
