Riverside 4, Dublin
Old meets New at River Liffey
Early 2005, GIG was awarded the Riverside IV project, one of the largest single contracts in its history.
Transparency in element design
The RKD Architects team designed this project and have thus created a light, innovative and highly flexible office complex in the former docklands of the Grand Canal Harbour.
The building is comprised of three blocks and the roughly 22,000 m² façade consists of differing solutions. From the majority of the quays, the striking façade of chessboard-like elements are transparent, and the atrium is also striking, as its outer skin is point-secured by means of a steel construction and stainless steel spiders.
