Complete Building Envelope of the Office Buildings at the STIWA Headquarters in Attnang-Puchheim (Phases 1+2)

The new headquarters of STIWA Holding GmbH was built in Attnang-Puchheim. GIG was able to convince the client with its technical expertise and the ability to deliver everything from a single source. As a result, GIG was commissioned with the project management as well as the manufacturing, delivery, and installation of the entire building envelope. Another important factor for the client was the strengthening of the Attnang economy.

The Phase I contract included the design and execution of 650 m² of post-and-beam façade, 3,500 m² of ventilated metal façade, 400 m² of window bands made of plastic-aluminum including sun protection systems, and 200 linear meters of clear glass balustrades. Through its affiliation with the International Window Network (IFN) and previous experience in the Austrian market, GIG was able to perfectly cover this wide range of products.

Due to the successful performance on previously completed projects for STIWA Holding GmbH, GIG was awarded the contract for Phase II of the office building in Attnang-Puchheim. The goal was still to deliver everything from a single source, including project management, as well as manufacturing, delivery, and installation of the entire building envelope.

The scope of the project included window bands made of plastic-aluminum windows, sun protection systems, post-and-beam construction including window and door elements, fire-rated doors (internal and external), and a ventilated metal façade including scaffolding. This contract was almost identical to Phase I, with the addition of two extra floors.
