The installation of high-quality metal and glass façades is a demanding process that requires extensive experience and expertise. Not only the secure attachment of the façade to the building needs to be considered, but also the timely delivery of individual elements for the most efficient construction site workflow. During the planning phase, the size of the façade elements and modules is determined to develop a project-specific logistics concept that encompasses the entire manufacturing, assembly, and material transport. Suitable access equipment and lifting tools are also defined.
We at GIG have our own fleet of installation aids such as mini cranes, glazing robots, and glass suction cups, and we also work in parallel with local partner companies to provide installation equipment.

Expertise from a single source
The installation itself is carried out by trained installation professionals under the supervision of our construction site management. Depending on the size of the project, our construction site management consists of a site manager, a supervisor, and a logistician. Our team conducts regular safety briefings and installation training for the installation personnel.
It is important for the installation that the façade elements are precisely and carefully installed, and that the materials for the construction of the building connections are processed properly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines. During the installation process, the façade undergoes continuous thorough inspection to ensure that it meets quality standards. Leak tests are also conducted upon request.
