Ludgate Hill, now known as “One Fleet Place,” is located in the heart of London and connects the historic City of London with one of the British capital’s most important business and transport hubs. Characterised by a dense urban fabric and a striking mix of historic buildings and modern architecture, the location is a defining part of London’s cityscape.

With the unitised façade for Ludgate Hill, GIG delivered a technically demanding façade project in this unique urban environment.

The façade elements, measuring up to 8 × 4 metres, were manufactured as prefabricated units and assembled on site. The dimensions of the elements presented a particular technical challenge and demonstrate the high level of manufacturing expertise and precision required for their realisation.
